WINTER TRADITIONS 2001/2
The Village Traipse 2002

The Village 'Traipse' has evolved over the years. It's purpose is to recreate the lost tradition of the team touring the area and receiving hospitality en route. Compared with Boxing Day there are no big crowds but we have a number of enthusiasts around the village, from whom we receive hospitality, and a small but dedicated band of camp-followers.  However, the size of the audience does not matter and after 9 'Traipses' it has become an established tradition.
